Alfred F. Perry, 85 of Keene, NH passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Athol, MA on January 20, 1931; the son of the late Alfred F., Sr. and Vera Apgar.
Al was a longtime Keene resident. He was last employed with Monadnock Community Hospital until his retirement. He was a parishioner and usher at St. James Episcopal Church in Keene, and volunteer for the American Red Cross. He enjoyed hunting, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved people and helping those in need. Al will always be remembered as a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
He is predeceased by a brother, William Perry of Vermont.
He is survived by his loving wife, Naomi Perry of Keene; a daughter, Debi Coleman and her husband Jeff of Walpole, NH; a son, Alfred F. Perry, III of NY; a sister, Shirley Davidoff of TX, a brother, Wayne Perry and his wife Ruth of ME, a sister-in-law, Alice Perry of VT; two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Craig Coleman both of Walpole, NH; two great grandchildren, Ella and Oprea Coleman; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at FLETCHER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 10 AM at St. James Episcopal Church, 44 West St, Keene, NH 03431. Burial will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Episcopal Church at the address above.
