

His parents, Viola Anna (Eurbin) and Andrew G. Perra, Sr., welcomed their son into the world on September 18, 1933, in Northfield, VT. He grew up in Newport, NH, moving to Keene, NH in his sophomore year, and graduating from Keene High School.
In 1956, Andy married the love of his life, Christine (Daniels). Together, they shared 57 years of marriage, building a life together raising their four children. They enjoyed vacationing during the summer in Kennebunkport, ME, along with spending many winters in Florida when they retired.
Andy started his career at Markem Corporation in Assembly, and worked his way up to Engineering and eventually Management. During his 41 year career at Markem Corporation, he received five registered patents for the company which is something he was very proud of.
Andy also served for eight years with the Army National Guard.
Andy was an avid hunter his entire life. He went on many hunting adventures, and in later years there were many hunting trips with his son Scott. He also enjoyed maple sugaring for the past 13 years.
He found great joy in woodworking and tending to his vegetable garden, sharing the bountiful crops with his friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed spending the winter months in Sarasota, Florida with his daughter Doreen. His fondest memories were those created with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church in Keene, NH.
He will be greatly missed by many, especially his children Doreen Perra of Sarasota, FL, Mark Perra and his spouse Brian Melanson of Brewster, MA, Scott Perra and his wife Kathy of Sullivan, NH, and Jeffrey Perra and his wife Eileen of Keene, NH; his grandchildren Jason, Justin and Taylor; great-grandchildren Astrid and Annastasiya; sisters Shirley Osborne of Florida and Barbara Wood and her husband Victor of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Christine (Daniels) Perra, a brother Edward Perra and sister Betty Kirby.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated following the calling hours at 1:00pm at St. Margaret Mary Church, 33 Arch Street, Keene, NH. Burial in the Mountain View Cemetery, Old Homestead Highway, Swanzey, NH will be held privately by the family.
