Her parents, Winfred W. and Vera M. (Watkins) Ringland welcomed their daughter into the world on December 28, 1929, in Keene, NH. She was a 1947 graduate of Keene High School. She married Francis J. Driscoll Jr. on February 3, 1951. They were happily married for 65 years until his passing in 2016.
In her early years, Anne was a telephone operator. She later worked in customer service for many years where her customers and fellow employees considered her a sweetheart. First with the former First National Grocery Store and later with Edwards Grocery Store, both here in Keene.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She loved to share her beautiful blossoms with family and friends. Gladiolus were her favorite flower to grow and enjoy. She wintered in Zephyrhills, Florida, and enjoyed playing bocce ball and cards with her large group of friends. She loved playing cards and games with family and friends too. She was in a pinochle card group with longtime friends here in Keene.
She loved her family most of all. Her children and all the grands were what she was most proud of. She loved celebrating all Holidays with them. And she always had room for one more at her table. It wouldn’t be Christmas without her homemade popcorn balls and meringue cookies. The 4th of July meant a large gathering at the cottage on Granite Lake.
