OBITUARY

Annette Lucille Conley

December 13, 1921May 23, 2020

The family matriarch, Annette L. Conley 98, a longtime resident of Keene, NH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Keene on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

Her parents, Leo and Dorothy (Bell) Derosia, welcomed their daughter into the world on December 13, 1921, in Mooers Forks, New York. Annette grew up in NY moving to Keene in 1958.

Annette worked for several years with MPB Corporation in Keene. She was a member of the former Moose Lodge in Keene. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and board games. She also enjoyed cooking and fishing. Annette was a collector of elephant statues and nick-knacks. Her family gave her the greatest joy in life and they returned that love to her as well.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Joyce A. Blood and her husband, Elwin, of Hinsdale, NH, Dorothy Rokes of Keene; her grandchildren, John F. Rokes, Sr. and his wife, Tanya, Tina M. Hale and her husband, Ed, Rhonda L. St. Denis and her husband, Rodney, Russell E. Rokes, Jr., Sharon Yawarksi and her husband, Paul, Dennis C. Blood; her great-grandchildren, John F. Rokes, Jr., Craig Rokes, Krystal Hale, Amber St. Denis, Karissa St. Denis, Trevor St. Denis, Michael Wellington, Jessica Blood; several great-great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Russell E. Rokes, Sr. Annette was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Fred Conley; four brothers and four sisters.

Services and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Swanton, Vermont, will be private.
