

He was born in Willimantic, Conn., July 09, 1940, the son of Florence (Sage) and Arthur W. Brousseau, Sr. He grew up in Windham, CT, and was a graduate of Windham Technical Vocational High School.
Affectionately known as “Buddy”, Mr. Brousseau worked for 26 years with the City of Keene in their Highway Department, driving truck #26. He retired in 1995.
He enjoyed boating and watching NASCAR. He was known as a “Ford Man” and was a die-hard New York Yankees Fan. Over the years, his home was filled with many foster pug dogs, in addition to his own pugs. Mr. Brousseau had a love for working with his hands and could quite often be found tinkering in the back shed at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Faith T. (D’Amour) Brousseau of Keene; his children, William Brousseau of Hinsdale, NH and Theresa Carreira and her husband, Christopher, of Rindge, NH; two granddaughters, Tina Brousseau and Jennifer Brousseau, both of Hinsdale; five great-grandchildren, Kevin, Megan, Ashlynne, Keegan and Sara; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00AM in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Brousseau’s memory to the Critical Care Unit at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03766.
