Bernice V. Sordello

She was born in Winchester, on July 1, 1925, to Bronislaw and Margaret (Smofski) Glodoski. She graduated from Thayer High School with the Class of 1943.

She worked at Elliot Community Hospital and M.P.B, before her retirement.

She married Ralph F. Sordello, on June 30, 1945, in a ceremony in Winchester. They celebrated nearly 34 years of marriage before his death on May 22, 1978.

She is survived by her daughter: Nancy A. Wilbur and her husband Roger Sr., of Surry; two grandchildren: Roger Wilbur, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Walpole and Kevin M. Wilbur and his wife Tammy of Tucson, AZ; five great grandchildren: Brandon, Morgan, Logan, Katie Rose and Owen; a sister: Julia Zimmer of Dover, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St Bernard’s Catholic Church. There are no public calling hours. Burial will follow the service at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
