
Beverly J. Duquette, 78, a life-long resident of Ashuelot and Winchester, NH, passed away peacefully at the Applewood Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, NH on December 9, 2016, following a period of declining health.
She was born December 26, 1937 in Winchester, NH the daughter of Emerson and Helen (Kilanski) Herman. She was a 1955 graduate of Thayer High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut.
For several years she worked in the Winchester Schools, teaching both 3rd and 6th grade and then later at the Westwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Keene as an administrator.
She was very compassionate and enjoyed being surrounded by her family and people that she cared deeply for. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and feeding and watching the birds.
She is survived by her daughter: Renee Duquette-Coleman of Central Point, OR, two sons: Kyle Duquette and Mark Duquette of Ashuelot, NH, one grandson: Justin Coleman. She is predeceased by her dear husband: Francis L. Duquette.
Private graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester, NH later this Spring.
