Bonnie A. Black

She was born in Keene on December 5, 1948, the daughter of August J. and Catherine I. (Bridge) Black. She was a graduate of Monadnock Regional High School and has lived in the area for her whole life.

Ms. Black last worked at Concord Labs for fourteen years before retiring as a supervisor.

She enjoyed socializing and was fond of animals especially her dogs and cats. She also enjoyed raising Shih Tzus and Mini-Dobermans.

Ms. Black is survived by her daughter Renee Hammond of Sullivan and grandson Colby Plaisted also of Sullivan; her stepchildren Mark Paquette of Sullivan, Bruce Paquette of Hooksett, Dale Paquette of Sullivan, Tina Paquette of Swanzey and LeeAnn Matson also of Swanzey; and her sisters Dawn Leavitt of Winchester, Cathy Gaudet of Orlando, FL and Julianne Johnson of Swanzey.

Calling Hours for Ms. Black will be held on Monday, January 6th, 2014, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH. Burial will be held in the spring at Mountain View Cemetery in Swanzey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bonnie Black’s name to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W. Swanzey Road, Swanzey, NH 03446 or to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Miami, FL, 33134.
