
She was born in St. Justin, Quebec Canada, April 23, 1919. She was the second of fifteen children, the daughter of Honore and Alice (Lebrun) Clement and moved to Keene in 1949.
Mrs. Tremblay married Maynard G. Tremblay in 1949 and were married 56 years until Maynards passing in 2005. Mrs. Tremblay also lost two children, Phillip, in 1956 and Joan in 1957 due to illness.
Mrs. Tremblay was a communicant at St. Bernard’s Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, playing cards, knitting and playing the organ.
She was also a very generous and giving person who contributed to many charities around the community and the world.
Survivors include: two sons: Peter J. Tremblay and his wife Debbie of Palm Harbor FL and their three children, Amy, Peter and Christine of the Tampa Bay area, and Michael P. Tremblay and his two children, Justin of Somerville MA and Renee of Hooksett, NH;
two brothers, Sylvio and Claude Clement and three sisters, Carmen Valois, Pauline DeCarufel and Hermance Thibault all of Quebec, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated April 20" at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard’s Church in Keene. Family and friends are invited. There are no public calling hours. Burial will be private and will take place at the family lot in St. Josephs Cemetery in Keene.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, that gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Tremblay, to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 161 Main Street, Keene NH 03431 or to the S1.Jude Hospital Research for Children, PO Box 50, Memphis TN, 38101.
The Fletcher Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene is in charge of the arrangements.
