Bruce W. O'Neil Jr.

He was born in Keene, NH on June 18, 1960 the son of Bruce W. and Sandra G. (Doody) O’Neil, Sr.

Bruce grew up in Keene, attended Keene schools and was a 1979 graduate of Keene High School. He later attended the University of New Hampshire where he received an associate’s degree in Horticulture. He had also lived in Lebanon, NH and since 2010 in Hudson, NH.

He was employed in retail management for thirty-five years for several local and national companies. He loved music, visiting the ocean and being out-of-doors with nature.

Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Sandra O’Neil of Swanzey, NH, his sister Kathleen and her husband Jeffery Lawrence of Winchester, NH and his brother David and his wife Ranae O’Neil of Harrisville, NH; several nieces and nephews; Danielle Lawrence, Jenna Lawrence, Stacey Lawrence, Matthew O’Neil and his wife Samantha and Janelle Hodgman and her husband Keith; a grandniece Tenley O’Neil and a grandnephew Gunnar Hodgman; two uncles; Joseph Hurt and Frank Hurt. His three dearest friends; Jane Fucci, James Clarke, and Daniel LaJoie.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard’s Church, 185 Main Street, Keene on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Msgr. Daniel O. Lamothe will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no public visiting hours.
