

He was born in Philadelphia, PA, September 26, 1934, the son of the late Charles C. and Janice (Quinn) Stroble. He grew up in Philadelphia, graduating in 1952 from the Northeast Catholic High School for Boys.
Mr. Stroble was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
A resident of Philadelphia for 65 years, he worked as a Chinook helicopter inspector with Boeing and he also worked at Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia.
He moved to the area where he resided in Swanzey, NH for seven years before moving to Keene six years ago. He worked in environmental services at the Cheshire Medial Center in Keene for seven years. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Keene and was active within the church, and taught catechism to fourth and fifth graders.
He was an avid sports fan, enjoying watching the Philadelphia Eagles football games, the Philadelphia Flyers hockey games, and also the Notre Dame football games.
Mr. Stroble is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (McKee) Stroble of Keene, a son, Charles P. Stroble of Keene, a daughter, Shannon P. Stroble of Philadelphia, five granddaughters; Kelly Bilger, Deanna Brabazon, Destiny Stroble, Charlene Stroble and Jessica Stroble.
A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM in St. Bernard Church, 183 Main Street, Keene. Burial will be private. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
