Charlotte Blanchard

Charlotte Virginia (Payne) Blanchard, 93, a lifelong resident of West Keene passed away with peace and dignity surrounded by her family at Applewood Rehabilitation Center on May 23rd 2018, following a short period of declining health.

Charlotte was born the third of four children to Ralph W. Payne and Madeline C. (Robbins) Payne on June 10th, 1924. She graduated from Keene High School; Class of 1942. She was a white-room assembler at MPB for over 40 years.

Charlotte enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially to Boothbay Harbor Maine every 4th of July. She was an avid reader who enjoyed the many new novels that were released.

Charlotte was married to Robert R. Lepisto, together they had two sons, and their marriage ended tragically with an automobile accident. Charlotte was married to Wesley Blanchard for 57 years together they had one son. She was predeceased by Wesley on December 12th, 2016.

Charlotte is survived by her three sons, Timothy Lepisto and his wife, Patricia, of Keene, Thomas Lepisto and his wife, Lois, of Lebanon, Maine, and Jay Blanchard and his wife, Lisa, of Keene; four granddaughters, Darcey Adams and her husband, David, Casey Lepisto, Nicole Blanchard, and Kathryn Blanchard; four great-grandchildren, Graeson Adams, Hayden Adams, Griffin Caruso, and Riley Caruso. She is also survived by her sister, Cherolyn O’Neil of Winchester as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Stanley Payne, and John Payne.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Wednesday, May 30, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.

A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Monadnock View Cemetery in West Keene.
