Her parents, Fredrick D. and Estelle (Parenteau) Davis welcomed their daughter into the world on August 18, 1947, in Keene, NH. She grew up in Harrisville, NH and was a 1965 graduate of Keene High School.
Cheryl received her registered nursing degree from the Thompson School of Nursing in Brattleboro, VT.
Her career in caring for others followed a pathway starting in 1990 with area nursing homes, then Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center and later with Interim Healthcare. This was a role that Cherly truly loved.
She also loved genealogy, traveling all over New England to do research. She loved crocheting and would make blankets for all who knew her and wanted one, and she would donate them to fundraisers, especially to the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality for the annual fund raising bizarre.
She loved seafood, especially lobster, and taking rides with her best friend Suzanne Gibson, always "getting lost" on their adventures as they refused to have a cell phone.
She will be greatly missed by many, her children, Leonard J. Eastman Jr. and his wife Vanessa, of Colrain, MA, Kathy L. Sevene and her partner Dan McDonnell of Keene; her grandchildren, Hailey Sevene and Caleb John Eastman; her great-grandson Carter; a brother, Brian Davis and his wife Jenn of Harrisville, NH; her sisters, Suzanne Jewell and her husband Dexter of Jaffrey, NH, Shelley Warner of Keene, Heidi Earle of Keene; several nieces, nephews an extended family members; and her African grey bird, Willow, who has been her companion for thirty years.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene. A gathering will follow the celebration at a location to be announced. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cheryl’s memory to the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality, c/o of Linda DiLuzio Treasurer, PO Box 43, Keene, NH 03431.
