Christine I Perra

She was born January 19, 1935, in Keene, New Hampshire, the daughter of Bert and Edith (Robie) Daniels. She was a 1953 graduate of Keene High School. On August 4, 1956, she married the love of her life, Andrew G. Perra.

Christine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many people. She loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing everything with them from baking cookies to picking blueberries. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens and was always busy cooking and preparing meals using the many vegetables that came from their beautiful vegetable garden. Christine enjoyed canning of jams, relish, pickles, pickled beets, and stewed tomatoes. For many years, she and Andy have traveled to Florida to spend the winter months, and she truly enjoyed the time that they spent there each year.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew G. Perra of North Swanzey, NH; her daughter, Doreen Perra of Sarasota, FL; three sons, Mark Perra and his partner Brian Melanson of Boston, MA, Scott Perra and his fiancé, Kathy Martz of Sullivan, NH, and Jeff Perra and his wife Eileen of Keene, NH; two grandchildren, Jason and Justin Perra of Keene, NH; two brothers, George Daniels of Florida and Robert Daniels of North Swanzey, NH, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her brother, William Daniels; two sisters, Mabel Harris and Alice Schrepta, and her sister-in-law, Neva Daniels.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at St. Margaret Mary Church on Arch Street in Keene, NH at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to call on the family from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. Burial will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
