He was born June 8, 1941, in Marlborough, NH, the son of Clifford and Madeline (Croteau) Wilson, Sr. He attended schools in Marlborough, finishing High School in 1959 and then going on to proudly serve our Nation as a member of the United States Army. Cliff worked for many local businesses including the Troy Mills, Drugg Construction and Smith Medical Company. He was a member of the Troy Fire Department. On August 17, 1963, he married the love of his life: Marcia A. Rocheleau.
He was very devoted to his family: being a loving Husband, compassionate Father and fun-loving PePe’ were his top priorities. When he wasn’t working long hours, he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing or simply spending time in the sunshine. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling and would go on various trips, whether driving in the car or taking cruises. He always looked forward to doing special things with his great-grandchildren. He enjoyed watching sporting events, whether going to games for his children and grandchildren or watching the Red Sox on TV, he was always into the game. He also enjoyed the time that he spent working with the pit crews for the Drugg Construction Race team. Though he was a man of few words, he felt that it was important to teach his family the value of a hard day’s work, integrity, the importance of having a good sense of humor and the never ending need to love everyone in your life with your whole heart.
He is survived by his wife: Marcia A. Wilson of Troy, two daughters: Michelle Darling and her husband Andrew of North Walpole, NH. and Marla Evans and her husband Todd of Surry, NH, one son: Keith Wilson and his companion Ila St. Francis of Troy, eight grandchildren: Nicholas Wilson, Darcy Wilson, Tyler Clark, Savanna Smith, Clifford Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Caitlin Evans and Emily Evans, ten great-grandchildren, two brothers: Wayne Wilson and his wife Priscilla and Kenneth Wilson and his wife Irene both of North Carolina, his sister-in-law: Marilyn Guyette of Keene and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
