

Connie was born in Keene on October 12, 1935, to Iola (Casillo) Collias and John Collias. She attended Keene public schools, graduating from Keene High School in 1953 and Keene Teachers College in 1957.
Connie married Richard P. Tremblay on August 11, 1956, and together they made their life in Keene. Prior to raising their children, Connie taught elementary school in Swanzey, NH. When her children were school age, she returned to the workforce, ultimately retiring from her position as an education paraprofessional at Keene High School.
Connie was an active member of the Keene State College alumni association, organizing several reunions, keeping classmates connected, and otherwise supporting and promoting the college. In 1978 she received the Sprague W. Drenan Award in recognition of her distinguished service to the Alumni Association.
Connie was an active communicant of St. Margaret Mary Parish for much of her adult life. Together with her husband, Richard, she welcomed new parishioners and taught religious education.
Connie was predeceased by her husband Richard just months shy of their 60th anniversary.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Tremblay van Dijk and husband Alex of Windermere, Florida; her daughter Deborah Tremblay Wales of Weybridge, Vermont; and her son Mark Tremblay of Keene. She leaves behind grandchildren Katherine vanDijk Peet, Stephanie van Dijk, Thomas van Dijk, Addison Wales and Oziah Wales, as well as a great grandchild, Hallie Peet.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at a future date.
