While Performing in New England (DANIEL) I met David. We hit it off right away. He was intelligent and a really likable, friendly guy who also had a recording studio in his home. We spent many hours in his studio. David was also the producer of my 1st Record Album which was recorded in his Movie Theater with a Local Band. He was also The Director of the Miss Vermont Program and State Level Pageant for the Miss America Program and he asked me to perform at the state Pageant in Brattleboro, VT.
It was there 1974-76 that I met my wife, Joylynn (Miss Vermont 1973) who was working as a producer for the Pageant. I was actually renting a room in David's home at the time. I remember David saying, "... Joylynn is too smart for you, Dan, She Has brains!" Anyway, Thanks to David we have been married for 43 years.
Although time and space have separated Dave and me, we did keep in touch through emails and phone conversations. I always thought that we would get back together and reminisce.
David, you were my friend. There were good times and a few bad. But we were friends... Thank you for all you brought to my career and personal life on many levels... and, thanks for the memories.
Rest in Peace old friend.

Dave was two years ahead of me at KHS and also lived in West Keene. I remember the many high school dances he DJ'd for us, and the recordings he made of band and A Choir concerts. Those are the records I treasure most today.

David & I went through Keene High together. We both were independent individuals…. not crowd followers. I got him the job of lighting technician at the Keene Summer Theater.... I did the props....we had a blast!

David was a wonderful man, intelligent, caring and loved his work with the radio station. His work with the Miss Vermont Pageant, Brattleboro Winter Carnival and The Miss America Pageant filled his life with joy. His jovial smile and pleasantness for all made the day. We will miss the gentle giant. My condolences, prayers and love go out to his surviving family.
