David Harding Mason

He was born in Boston, MA on February 9, 1952, the son of Donald W. and Pauline (Harding) Mason. He attended area schools graduating from the Lynn Classical High School in 1970.

In the early 1980’s he moved to Keene, and started D&M Foreign Automotive before opening his own business, Foreign Auto Alternative, which he operated up until his death. David was known as “DOC” by his friends in the trade.

David and Vicki-Ann have lived together since April 1993 and they got married on Ground Hog Day, February 2, 2001.

He grew up on the slopes, skiing at the family chalet in Jackson, NH. He was an avid downhill skier. Summer months were spent on his Harley, he enjoyed vacationing and scuba diving in the Cayman Islands. His true passion has always been for repairing European cars.

He is survived by his wife: Vicki-Ann M. Mason, of Spofford; his son: David H. Mason, II and his wife Susan of Newburyport, MA; his father: Donald W. Mason of Ashville, NC; a brother: Donald Mason and his wife Patricia of Jackson, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother; Pauline Harding Mason and a brother, Richard E. Mason.

It was David’s request that there be no public calling hours or formal services. Burial will be private.
