We shared the same little classroom in Westmoreland for many years.  She was always brilliant, sweet and too self effacing. She was incapable of being unkind. Her father (my dentist) was a colorful man, unique in a different way. They are both alive in my memory.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this much sooner. I met Deb in the late 1990s when we were both taking dance lessons at Arthur Murray. We would sometimes practice together after class. Later I had the honor of making portraits of her daughters for my nascent photography business. After that, life happened and we fell out of touch. She was a dear friend and I am terribly saddened to hear of her passing. I will miss her sense of humor and her friendship. Sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

Memories of a unique, intelligent, incredibly talented woman, friend, daughter, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, sister, sister-in-law., sibling... Deb L. was quick of mind, soon to laugh with you, sharp as a tack, incredibly gifted, an avid reader, a lifelong learner, lover of kids, people, animals,  college-educated, and always curious about life...ready to explore.  

I remember her wedding...one of her best-liked songs was "My Favorite Things". And, she could sing. She was often humming, singing, or whistling about the house or in the garden. 

She shared her personality with each person she met. I can hear her saying, "Just get on with life. Enjoy it. Do something new."
I think of her when I drive by her childhood home.

She was a gem...a really interesting person.

Debbie and I were roommates at UNH for one or two years. She was very gentle, thoughtful and kind. A very good person. I visited her at her Gilmanton house when the girls were quite young and very cute. I lived the next town over in Loudon. In school she was always reading books that required deep thinking and she was a very deep thinker. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. Life is eternal and she is continuing on her spiritual journey. Much love to you all.

She was a loving mother, a wonderful sister and a dear sister-in-law.  She will be sorely missed.  She was looking forward to one last Christmas.  But she got to see a snow storm last Tuesday.  She sat out on the porch and watched me shovel.   If she were here she would of done the same today.  She loved nature.
