Dennis R. Finn

He was born in Englewood, NJ on March 22, 1950 the son of Raymond and Mildred (Vetter) Finn.

He grew up in New Jersey and was a graduate of Lakeland High School in Wanaque, NJ. Dennis has been a resident of Keene for the past thirty-seven years having moved here from New Jersey.

He was employed as meat cutter at Shaw’s Supermarket, Reedy’s, IGA and most recently by Hannaford’s in Keene. He was a member of the Keene Lodge of Elks # 927, the Italian Club, and the Gordon Bissell Post 4 American Legion. He was a lover of Vintage cars and love to attend car shows, he was also a lover of music. He enjoyed playing pool and cribbage at the Elks Lodge in Keene and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Michael Finn and his wife Lynn of Westford, VT and his daughter Vicki Finn and her husband Nabil Benchekroun of Tyngsboro, MA; a sister, Janice Gregorzek and her husband Christopher of Rochelle Park, NJ; five grandchildren; Sarah Benchekroun, Ziko Benchekroun, Aliyah Benchekroun, Meghan Finn and Justin Finn; two nephews Eric Gregorzek and Sean Gregorzek; his mother and father-in-law Theodore and Adele Kordecki of Port Jervis, NY; two sisters-in-law Maureen DeMilia of Houston, TX and Karen Baisley of Washingtonville, NY; a brother-in-law Alan Kordecki of Port Jervis, NY and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

He was pre deceased by his parents and his wife Joanne who died on October 26, 2014.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 12, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Papagallos Restaurant, 9 Monadnock Highway, Swanzey, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in a time of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that contributions be made in his name to the Keene Lodge of Elks, c/o Charity Programs, 81 Roxbury Street, Keene, NH 03431.
