Dennis Francis Hamelin 80, born on September 2, 1945, passed away on Sunday September 21, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully with his family around him with lots of love.
Dennis was a son, husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was also a United States Marine Corps veteran and was a proud soldier and volunteer in the Vietnam War.
Dennis is survived by his greatest love Cricket Hamelin of 50 years; his three sons, Wayne, Danny, and Kenny Hamelin; his amazing daughters-in-law, Liisa Hamelin and Lisa Echavarria; his grandchildren Abby, Lacey, Kenneth, and Desiree Hamelin; and seven great-grandchildren.
I speak for us all when I say he was an amazing man and will be missed beyond words. We all love you Dad and miss you terribly and we hope that you're at peace now. Thank you for all you have given us throughout the years and all the beautiful memories you have left for us to cherish. You will never be forgotten, and your legacy will live on as the great man that you were.
At Dennis's request there are no memorial services being held but your prayers and comments are certainly welcome.
