

He was born in West Thornton, March 23, 1918, the son of Dana and Esther (Downing) Fadden and had resided in Piermont, and Sunapee prior to moving to Marlborough twenty nine years ago.
Mr. Fadden graduated from the Haverhill Academy, class of 1936.
Mr. Fadden was a veteran having served in the US Army during World War II, and had worked for 46 years with the New Hampshire Department of Public Works and Highways in Piermont and Sunapee.
He was a member of the Federated Church of Marlborough and had served on the property committee of the church for a number of years. He enjoyed bowling, walking, sports and time spent at his cottage at York Beach Maine, but his most precious love and past time was to be with his family.
Mr. Fadden is predeceased by his first wife Francese Hartwell who died in 1980 and a granddaughter Wendy Trombley who died in 1981.
Survivors include: his wife of 29 years; Madalyn (Gage-Proulx) Fadden of Marlborough; a son Allen Fadden and his wife Mary of Vero Beach, FL., three daughters: Patricia Gionet and her husband Norman of Georges Mills, and Ft. Myers Beach FL. and Donna Hirtle and her husband Howard of F. Myers Beach Fl and Deborah Fadden and her husband Thom McAllister of Richmond VT.; his stepchildren: Gary Proulx and his wife Dottie of Alstead and Brian Proulx of Herndon VA.; his twin brother: Robert Fadden and his wife Priscilla of No. Haverhill, a sister Beverly Hodges and her husband Herbert of Fairlee, VT., nine grandchildren: eleven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Mr. Fadden will be held Friday June 8th at 11 o'clock from the Federated Church of Marlborough. Friends are invited. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the start of the funeral.
Burial will take place at the family lot in the South Lawn Cemetery in Piermont, NH. Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Friends are invited. It has been requested that gifts be made in memory of Donald Fadden, to the Federated Church of Marlborough, Trust Fund, c/o Treasurer, or to the Hospice at Home Healthcare & Community Services, 312 Marlborough Street, Keene, NH. 03431 or to a charity of ones choice.
