Dora Rose Talbot

She was born on May 11, 1924, in Marlborough, the daughter of William and Mary Alma (Paro) Trombley. She grew up in the area and was a 1942 graduate of the Marlborough High School.

She married Roger F. Talbot on July 3 1942 in Swanzey Center. They lived in Swanzey for several years and then moved to Belmont, NH in 1976.

Mrs. Talbot worked in nursing care at the Elliot Community Hospital here in Keene and also in the Belmont area.

She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Talbot is survived by her children, daughter Sharon A. (Richard) Sawyer of O’Fallon, IL, and sons Phillip R. Talbot of Merrimack, NH, and Timothy A. Talbot of Belmont, NH; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Roger F. Talbot in 1987, siblings Richard Trombley, William Trombley, Jr., Marie Lampman and by her daughter-in-law Kathleen (Kennedy) Talbot.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Talbot on Monday, November 9, 2015, 10:00 AM at St. Bernard’s Church, 173 Main St., Keene, NH. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH. (www.fletcherfuneralhome.com)
