He was born October 31, 1959 in Big Spring, TX the son of Edwin and June (Wesley) Hulslander. He worked for many years as a Mason and also as an Electrician for various businesses throughout the Monadnock Region and also in Florida.
On June 30, 1984 he married the love of his life: Rebecca Rumrill. The two of them shared many years and many memories together.
Butch loved history, especially that which was centered on the Civil War. When he and his family would travel he would also take opportunities to learn about the history of the places they visited. He also enjoyed surrounding himself with Nature and enjoyed the time that he got to spend hunting and fishing.
He also enjoyed watching the races and was an avid NASCAR fan: Every Saturday night, during racing season, he and his wife would go to the Monadnock Speedway for the races. He also enjoyed working on old cars. Above everything, he loved his family and especially loved being a grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hulslander of North Swanzey; his mother and step-father, June and Bernard Blancato of Arkansas; three daughters, Celia Grove and her husband Christopher of Swanzey, Felicia Hulslander of Cherryville, NC and Gabrielle Austernam and her husband Donald of Marlow, NH; his son Jacob Hulslander and his fiancé Agata Duz of Swanzey; seven grandchildren, MaKenzie, Trinity, Rylee, Makayla, Azel, Kyrah and Russell; two sisters, Cheryl Harrison and Cynthia DeLong; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
