

She was born on June 5, 1980, at Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland, to Michael and Marie Day. She was raised in Iceland, Maryland, Washington State, and Hudson, NH, where she was a 1998 graduate of Alvirne High School, excelling in academics, basketball, and soccer. She later attended Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts before transferring to Keene State College where she graduated in 2002 with a BA in Education and she was in the process of obtaining her Masters in Administration.
Elise married her loving husband Jonathan P. Driscoll of Harrisville in a ceremony in Las Vegas, NV, on April 23, 2005. They recently celebrated 10 years of marriage.
Elise had a passion for teaching and she led countless students to success at Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle/Senior High School in Wilton, NH, where she worked for 8 years. She accepted a new position this year teaching at Conval Regional High School in Peterborough, NH, and enjoyed golf in the summer, downhill skiing in the winter, and the company of friends, family, and students at any time of the year.
She was an incredibly devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister who brightened innumerable lives by showering those closest to her with genuine love and encouragement, while always placing the needs of others before her own. She is truly missed, yet remembered and loved by her family and friends as the kind and caring woman she was, with an infectious laugh and a beaming smile.
Elise is survived by her husband Jonathan Driscoll and their son Kasch Driscoll, of Harrisville; parents Michael and Marie Day of Hudson; brother Colin Day, his wife Melissa, and their daughter Susannah, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandmother Bridget Farrell, of Nashua; her father-in-law Buddy Driscoll and his wife Barbara, of Swanzey; mother-in-law Sharon Wilder of Harrisville; and sister in-law Stephanie Pollock, her husband Jesse, and their two daughters, Amelia and Elizabeth, all of Stoddard.
A memorial service for friends and loved ones to celebrate Elise's life will be held at Monadnock Convenant Church at 2:00pm on Saturday, the 21st of November, 2015. A scholarship foundation in Elise's memory is planned and memorial donations are kindly requested to be coordinated through the main office of Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle/High School until formal arrangements are complete.
