He was born August 1, 1949, in Keene, NH the son of Albert and Julia (Burnham) Fauteux. He was a 1967 graduate of Keene High School and went on the earn an Associate’s Degree from Franklin Pierce University. He proudly served our Nation as a member of the United States Air Force, during Vietnam. On October 4, 1968 he married the love of his life: Lynda Hutchins.
He was a very hardworking man: He started out working for his Dad and the family business, doing roofing, when he was a teenager. He also worked for other business in the Monadnock Region such as Kingsbury and New Hampshire Ball Bearing. He was skilled at many things and enjoyed working on various projects at his home.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and being a part of family gatherings. He loved the classics when it came to music and entertainment: the Marx Brothers, Abbott and Costello and of course Elvis were his favorites. He also enjoyed classic horror movies and would watch them over and over.
He is survived by his wife: Lynda of Nelson, two sons: Ernest W. Fauteux, Jr. and his wife Laura Crewson and Albert Fauteux and his companion, Millie Ayotte both of Nelson, four grandchildren: Nicole Fauteux, Thomas Fauteux, Richard Kendall and Joshua Targonski, two great-grandchildren: Brandon and Sophia, three sisters: Linda Randlett and her companion Danny of Swanzey, Patricia Frenzel and her husband Tom of Nebraska and Donna Henry and her husband Al of Sullivan and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is also survived by his father-in-law: Clyde Hutchins of Keene.
As was Ernie’s wish, his family will have a private Celebration of his life at a later time.
