

He was born in Keene, NH on October 17, 1922 the son of Alfred and Florence (Spaulding) Beauchesne. He was a lifelong resident of Keene and attended local schools, graduating from Keene high School in 1941.
During WW II he served in the US Army 3932 Quartermaster Truck Company in the Persian Gulf Command.
After the war he was employed by the former Robertson Motor Company in Keene for seven years and then by the City of Keene Fire Department for thirty years, retiring as Deputy Fire Chief in 1983.
He enjoyed retirement and volunteering at the Community Kitchen, Cheshire Medical center and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Besides his wife, Thelma “Sally” (Taylor) Beauchesne of Keene, whom he married on August 3, 1946, he leaves two sons, Gary D. Beauchesne of Keene, and Kevin J. Beauchesne of Dedham, MA; three grandchildren, Kimberly Nilles, Aaron Beauchesne , and Carianne Boucher; three great-grandsons, Christopher, Dalton and John; and one great grand-daughter, Sophia. Along with immediate family he also leaves several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 1:00PM in St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene. Rev. William James will officiate. There are no public hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Cedarcrest Foundation, 91 Maple Avenue, Keene, NH 03431, or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Parish of the Holy Spirit, 161 Main Street, Keene NH 03431.
The Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
