Here Brian came to visit from San Francisco and we had dinner in Brattleboro. We drove around the towns around Keene and heard dad talk about memories. ♥️♥️♥️ MAYBE we had some ice cream too ….

I miss you a lot.  You were more than just a customer of mine.  We had awesome talks throughout the years.  Kate would ask me hey have you seen grandpa?  I would say yup just saw him.  Can not believe it has been this long.  Fly high my friend.

My condolences to you three, Gayle, Theresa, Linda and your families. I got to know your dad through your mom and what a character he was! They were such fun to watch.....your dad bantering with your mother when she wanted to paint the kitchen white!! He just couldn't understand putting paint on the dark cabinets, while she was so tired of a dark kitchen! After they were painted he admitted to me that it made everything so much brighter! I loved your mom. She and your dad taught me so much about relationships! He always called me Betsy, LOL! but then he'd correct himself and laugh his infectious laugh! May God Bless you all, especially the two of them, now that they are together. Cherish your memories. They were special people to many!

My condolences to the family of George Patnode.  I had the pleasure of knowing George while working at Bretwood Golf Course.  We had a lot to talk about as he had grown up in West Swanzey and knew many of my relatives.  He also gave me some words of wisdom about my golf game.  I will not forget George's sense of humor and contagious laugh.  I am a better person for knowing him, he was a great man.

Oh my goodness.  I am so sorry for your loss Gayle, Theresa and Linda.  I have such fond memories of growing up on Pearl Street with your family.  We had 5 girls in the family, you had 4.  Your Dad lived a long and love filled life.  I am so thankful you were all caring for him before he passed.  You are all a lucky and beautiful family.  I think your Dad is the last family member living on Pearl Street.  We were so lucky.  What a great childhood all of our parents provided us with.  Love to you all.

It has been awhile since i have seen you.  We have had many talks while I was your Newspaper Delivery Person.  I would look forward to talking to you.  Just listening to your stories and hearing about your grandchildren that you were very proud of made my day sometimes.  I will miss my sir.  RIP my friend. I have many fond memories of George when we used to go out to dinner with him and Janet.  He did love his sweets especially the Chocolate Stampede at the Longhorn.  And butter...lots of it!  He was always kind to me and had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make me laugh.   I’m honored to have known both him and Janet.  To his family, My heartfelt sympathies for your loss.  

First I would like to say to Gayle, Theresa, and Linda my deepest condolences to you and all of your families on the passing of your father George. My memories of George are so long and deep. So many countless mornings sharing coffee and conversations with him at Elm City Bagels. Our conversations were both light hearted and deep. He always had an encouraging word or a good joke. 
I must also add that being with him the day that Jan passed away was something I will never forget. I was honored to be with him to help in a small way that day.

I was honored to know you George, I miss you very much and will never forget the times we spent together. You were truly an American hero.

I was saddened to learn of George's passing.  He was an amazing gentleman.  His personality was infectious and it was always a pleasure talking with him almost every morning at Elm City Bagels when I would go in to get my coffee.  His presence there brought brightness and a humor like no other to the place.  He was one of those people you looked forward to seeing and will always remember.  He will be missed.  RIP.
