I am sad to have come across this obituary for Mrs. Draper. I corresponded with her several times about family history and looked forward to one day purchasing her book, History of the Tandy family in New Hampshire: Descendants of Richard Tandy as first described in Lorenzo Tandy's 1877 Address to the family. Reading about Mrs. Draper's life here is inspirational. I am pleased to see that she was also an active P.E.O member. Thank you for posting this tribute.

Helen was a real friend and a great help to me when I began teaching at the Poughkeepsie Middle School back in 1986. Her advice was excellent and highly valued. Thoughts and prayers to Helen, her family, and friends.

Helen was a good friend and such a smart one. She was so admired for the way she carried on with the work for Northeast District Board, P.E.O. while dealing with such serious health problems.
