

He was born in Albany, NY on December 13, 1953, the son of James F. and Norma M. (Rivers) Boniface. He grew up in Round Lake, NY and attended Shenendehowa High School.
Jim married Lori (Quinn) Boniface on February 5th, 1994 in Hinsdale.
He worked for a number of years as a mechanic and then began driving truck as well. He most recently was working for Winchester Precision Technologies.
Jim loved racing. Although his racing career was cut short due to his illness at the end of 2013, he began as a grass roots racer and ended his career driving Modifieds, in the highest ranks with over 200 wins in his 40 year racing career, including a few track championships. Although Jim considered Monadnock Speedway to be his home track, he also enjoyed his many races at Thompson Speedway, Claremont, Star, Lee USA and many other speedways throughout the northeast.
His family remembers him as loving to spend time with them, especially his grandchildren. They also remember him as being caring, kind, loving, generous, and a fierce competitor at the track. He was looked up to by many in the racing community. His favorite expression was: “A clean racecar is a happy racecar.”
He is survived by his wife Lori (Quinn) Boniface of Winchester, his daughter Sheena Boniface of Winchester, and his son Kyle Boniface, and spouse Amanda Boniface, and their children Reagan, Farrah and Kyler, all of Winchester,his sons Todd Dennis of Rochester NY, Adam Dennis of Maine, Chris McTaggert, who is considered a member of the family; his stepbrother Leon Brown of Green Island, NY and his brother Chuck Boniface, of Ravena, NY; sister Debbie Shutter, of Altamont, NY; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Jim’s son James F. Boniface III, brothers Tommy Boniface, Terry Brown and sister Carol Boniface all passed at eariler times/dates.
Services will be held on Friday, June 27th, 2014, at 2:30 PM at the Monadnock Speedway located on 830 Keene Road (Route 10) in Winchester. Calling Hours will be held the evening before from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Service for the kindness and compassion shown to Jim, and his family, during their most difficult days.
