
He was born on February 2, 1935 in Hamden, CT, the son of Joseph and Evelyn (Brady) Kaiser.
He proudly joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Melvin R. Nawman.
He moved to NH with his young family in 1956.
He served a technical representative with Xerox until he took an early retirement.
His hobbies included building and flying model planes, fishing and especially woodworking which he pursued until he suffered a stroke which severely limited his activities.
Jay is survived by his wife, Nancy (Follansbee) Kaiser, a son Paul Kaiser and his wife Kathi of Maryland, four daughters: Elisabeth Kaiser of Vermont, Deborah Diehl, and husband Jim, of Florida, Beverly DeYoung, and husband David, of Maryland, and Priscilla (Casey) Kaiser of Connecticut; a stepson Bruce Nickerson, and wife Sheila, of Missouri, a stepdaughter Carla Pierson, and husband Richard, of Francestown; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Warren Kaiser and his wife Marcy of New Jersey, and his first wife Eleanor Kaiser of CT. He is predeceased by his sister Loel Acker and a grandson Ian Washburn.
