There are no words that can make sense of or bring relief to the loss of a daughter, sister, mother, partner and friend. Jessica was one of my best childhood friends, and I've often regretted not staying in touch as we grew into adulthood. I know I've missed out on so much, particularly seeing her become a mother---a blessing I'm sure she took very seriously and devoted herself to. I have so many fond memories of spending time with Jess and her family as a kid, and I always admired her confidence, her sparkling smile, and her incredible sense of humor. My heart is broken for the many loved ones she leaves behind, particularly her children who I've never met. Natalie, you were and are a loving mother, and I've never forgotten the way God's love shone through you in the way you interacted with your children. I will always regret not being part of Jessica's life when she faced her struggles, but I know that she is forever in the arms of Christ, watching over her loved ones. Jessica, you'll never be forgotten--your radiant smile lives in my memory.
