I have many fond memories of John. We taught together for a few years in the 70's. It was with his encouragement that I became a part time real estate agent, and I hung my license in his real estate office. He even tried to teach me to play golf. John was a kind and caring man. I'm sure his students remember him as one of the best teachers they ever had.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom, his mom Kathy, and the entire Carroll family. I will miss saying hello to Mr. Carroll when I would see him out on the porch or getting the paper out of the box.

I was sorry to hear of John's passing. I have fond memories when we would see John & Kathy at gatherings in Swanzey in my younger years. I remember John as being a gentle, kind person. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time.
