He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Tara Miner of Winchester and Steve Pelton of Keene; maternal uncle Steven Willard of Claremont and maternal aunt Kayley Pelton of Westmoreland, maternal great grandparents Gerry Pelton of Winchester and Sandra Horton of VA; paternal grandparents Ron and Ellen Chapman of Troy; paternal uncle Seth Chapman of Troy; paternal aunts Mercy Chapman of Troy and Merrilea Tanner of Weare, NH; paternal great grandparent Judith Wells of Swanzey; paternal great grandfather Warren and Peggy Chapman of Mansfield, MA. Joseph was named after his maternal grandfather Richard Joseph Horton.

Services for Joseph will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Fletcher Funeral Home. An hour of Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00, prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Saxtons River Cemetery in Saxtons River, VT.
