Judith "Dianne" Stevens

She was born in Norwood, MA, on March 11, 1936, daughter of the late George and Ann (Mahoney) Schiff.

On December 22, 1956, Dianne married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Stevens. Dianne worked in retail for many years, including owning a clothing store with Bob in Barre, VT, finishing her career as the manager of the bridal department at New England Fabrics. Dianne retired with Bob to Holly Springs, NC in 2000 and in 2022, Dianne relocated to American House in Keene, NH, where she became friends with many residents and staff.

Dianne’s world was centered around her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She continued to keep her long-time friends from Walpole High School close with monthly luncheons and remained in close contact with friends from her years in North Carolina. Never having lost touch with her Keene friends, she was delighted to be able to visit with them in recent years. Dianne’s family is forever grateful for the fulfillment her friends provided throughout her life.

Dianne will be dearly missed by her children: Patricia Munson and her husband David of Whitingham, VT; William Stevens of Guilford, Vt; Daniel Stevens and his wife Lara Crissy of Chapel Hill, NC; Raymond Stevens and his wife Lisa of Monument, CO; Robert Stevens, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Woodstock, GA; Sandra Stevens of Guilford, VT; and her loving grandchildren: Jordan Ryan, Anastatia Ryan, Adam Ryan, Alexander Stevens, David Stevens, Jennifer Di Ruscio, Elizabeth Stevens, Nicholas Stevens, Corey Stevens, Laura Tisdale, Brenna Stevens, Sabrina Hulkenberg, Kyle Stevens, Jake Stevens, as well as several great grandchildren and her many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert F. Stevens, Sr. in 2014.

A mass of Christian burial will be announced at a later date.
