Laura R. Morgan

Laura Roberts Morgan of Peterborough, died peacefully after an illness on March 15, 2015. Born on July 6, 1945 in Emory, GA, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Frances (Wing) Morgan. She is survived by her children, Anne Francis and Michael van Beuren, Jr. and her grandchildren Emma Francis and Charlie van Beuren as well as her brother, Paul W. Morgan, Jr., her sister-in-law, Glenda Morgan, and their two sons, Sam and Brett Morgan.

Laura was an active member of the Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm Community in Peterborough from its inception after having lived many years in Keene. She had been a bookkeeper, a 6th grade teacher in various parts of New England, and ultimately a partner in a software company for 20 years that started in Keene. Very active in her communities, she had volunteered for The Samaritans, at The Colonial Theatre and most recently for and AARP IRS-sponsored Tax Aide in Jaffrey.
