Lee S. Marsh

Lee was born in Sparta, WI, September 7, 1929, the son of Albert and Janet Marsh of Elroy, WI.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and entered the Navy as a commissioned officer. He married Dolores Barry, his high school sweetheart, on August 18, 1951.

He served twenty years in the Navy with both sea and shore duty including Explosive Ordinance Disposal, and deployments to Korea and Vietnam. Lee retired from the Navy in 1972 and worked for the Fleet Missile Analysis & Evaluation Group in Norco, CA. He retired again in 1989.

Survivors include two sons, David Lee Marsh and son-in-law, Robert Keiser of Hemet, CA, and Lee Scott Marsh and son-in-law, Jeff Soder of Tucson, AZ; and daughter, Marianne Marsh of Keene, NH. Lee is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Allen of Kailua, HI, and three grandchildren, Dustin, Kayla and Cooper of Keene, NH. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Dolores Ann Marsh.

A graveside service will be held in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene, at a date and time to be announced.
