Leonard Lenny M. Trombly

He was born on October 18, 1961 in Keene, NH to Leonard Joseph Trombly and Marjorie Mae (Plimpton) . Lenny graduated from Monadnock Regional High School in 1979.

Lenny had many passions in his life which included the extreme love of all kinds of animals, riding his motorcycle, tinkering and building unusual different things, but was most known for his musical talents particularly playing his guitar.

Lenny was considered one of the finer guitar players in the area and played with many bands over the years. He truly enjoyed playing the local venues as he loved entertaining the people he socialized with the most. He continued to play with various bands right up until his untimely death – with his last public performance in September 2013.

Lenny will always be remembered for his kind heart and gentle demeanor.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Lia Athanasopoulos-Trombly of West Swanzey, NH . His children; Matthew J. Trombly and his wife Tana and grandchildren Liam James and Kiera Jenevieve of Hillside, Michigan; Michael G. Athanasopoulos and his wife Christa, and grandson Theodore Martin of West Swanzey, NH; and Leonard Mark Trombly, II of West Swanzey, NH. His mother Marjorie Trombly of Whitefield, NH. A sister Susan L. Nearing and her husband Randy of Whitefield, and their son Cory Nearing of Bethlehem. A brother Arthur L. Trombly and his wife Raette and their family Eddie, David, Mark, Jacqueline and Stacey. A sister Joyce Bemis and her husband Reginald “Skip” , and their family Teddy and Steven. Lenny is also survived by many other cousins as well.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at The Hellenic Hall at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 70 West Street, Keene, NH.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Keene, NH.
