During her senior year, she began what would turn into a 9-year position at Holstein Friesian where she enjoyed filing and working with people. It was during this time, that she met Joseph W. Baldwin, on a blind date, at King’s Bowling Alley in Brattleboro. Following a two-year courtship, they were united in Marriage at the Centre Congregational Church, Brattleboro, VT on April 22, 1961. Lorraine resided in West Chesterfield for over 53 years.
Following her work with the Holstein Association, she worked for the Town of Brattleboro at the Brooks Memorial Library and at the Town Clerk’s Office, later she worked at the Thompson School for Practical Nurses. Lorraine loved the positions she held, however, her biggest accomplishment in life was her family.
