

She was born March 8, 1924, in Marlborough, New Hampshire, the daughter of Ernest and Isabelle (Daviaeu) Croteau. She was a 1942 graduate of Marlborough High School. Earl McLean was her late husband and the two were married for more than 45 years.
Lorraine loved being outside and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and doing things with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very gifted in her ability to create things using yarn: knitting and crocheting were two of her favorite hobbies. She also followed the Red Socks and NASCAR. Lorraine always had homemade goodies around her kitchen: Homemade cookies and strawberry rhubarb pie were two of her favorites.
She is survived by two sisters: Kathy Isaakson of Rindge, NH and Jean Atkins of Keene, NH, one brother: Gary Croteau of Maine, three grandchildren: Peter Wolhok and his wife Melinda of Winchester, NH, Renee Koski and her husband Stephen of Keene, NH and Lorri Stevens of Hinsdale, NH, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother: Howard Croteau , and daughter: Donna Wolhok
