She was born October 24, 1939 in Keene, NH the daughter of Roy and Mildred (Crosby) Croteau. On May 23, 1959, she married the love of her life, George E. Sawtelle.
Lorraine loved her family very much and though she worked outside the home for a few years, her primary role was wife and mother , which she loved. She enjoyed cooking for her family and some of her best dishes were spaghetti and meatloaf. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband: George E. Sawtelle of Keene, NH, her daughter: Debra Lee Sawtelle of Keene, NH. two sisters: Barbara Keyser and Carolyn Damon and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is predeceased by her son: George F. Sawtelle, who passed away in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to call on the family from 1 to 3pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene< NH on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Burial will be private.
