

She was born in Keene, NH on October 24, 1957, the daughter of Jean E. (Sturtevant) and Elton W. Blood, Sr.
A lifelong resident of Swanzey, Lynda enjoyed growing up on the family farm (Debulin Farm) where she was active in 4-H, and the Pony Club. She showed her beloved horse “Honey” at many horse shows.
She was a 1976 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey. While in high school she was a cheerleader and member of various organizations. After graduation she attended Thompson School at U.N.H. where she studied horticulture and business.
She worked as a bookkeeper and scheduler for the family business for several years.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being with family and friends, especially around the holidays when she would create her special dishes. Lynda was a talented photographer and cherished the photographing of nature and animals.
Lynda is survived by her sister, Debbra Crowder and her husband, Larry, of Swanzey; a brother, Elton W. “Buddy” Blood Jr. of Swanzey; nieces Melissa Lamoureux and her husband, Steve, of Nelson, NH, Chelsea Crowder of Swanzey; nephews Justin Blood and his wife, Hannah, of Vernon CT, Andy Crowder of Swanzey, and Ben Crowder and his wife, Jeanne, of Swanzey. Her parents died earlier.
A graveside service will be held in the spring, at a date and time to be announced, at the Mountain View Cemetery in Swanzey. All will be welcome.
The Foley Funeral Home of Keene, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
