Marcelle R. Papapietro

She was born on January 23, 1951, in Keene, NH, the daughter of the late Eleanor "Rita" Talbot and Marcel Marrotte. Raised in Troy, NH, she graduated from Monadnock Regional High School.

Known affectionately as Marcy or Marc, she built a career that started in accounts payable before transitioning into Human Resources. Over the years, she worked at Beach Hill in Dublin, New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Smith Medical, and GS Precision, from which she eventually retired.

Marcy met the love of her life, James Papapietro, and the two married on October 6, 2001.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Marcy cherished time spent at home with her family. She had a playful side and loved video games—especially playing with her grandchildren. At one time, she even had a dedicated gaming chair surrounded by piles of cheat sheets. She also had a deep love for books and could often be found engrossed in a novel, even in the middle of a lively gathering. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed crocheting and working on puzzles.

Marcy adored her dogs—Sandy, Bailey, and Shea—and was an enthusiastic, if not always successful, caretaker of her houseplants, which her family lovingly teased her about. Her sense of humor, radiant smile, and infectious laugh made her a joy to be around, and those closest to her will forever cherish the warmth and happiness she brought into their lives.

Marcy will be dearly missed by her loving husband, James E. Papapietro of Keene, NH; her children, Cori Tuthill and her husband Keith of Westmoreland, NH, and Seth Stabler of Merrimack, NH; step-children: J Papapietro, Michelle Papapietro, and Lori Redfield; her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sister, Michelle Hayward of Westmoreland, NH; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother, Dennis Marrotte, son-in-law, John Redfield, and brother-in-law, Mark Hayward.

A celebration of Marcelle’s life will be held privately at a later date.
