Marian was born in Middletown, CT on September 10, 1936, the daughter of Milton and Clara (Miner) Spencer.
Mrs. Sumner worked as a receptionist with the Farnum Rehabilitation at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, for ten years.
She is survived by her children, Lori Delisle of North Swanzey, Pamela Romanini of North Swanzey, Marie Angersola, of Chester, CT, Wilma "Sue" Pike, of Deep River, CT, William Cobb, of Chester, CT, Cheryl Brainard, of Ivoryton, CT, Henry W. Cobb, II, of Lakeland, FL, Forrest W. Cobb, of Deep River; and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of thirty-six years, Harold T. Sumner.
Services for Mrs. Sumner and burial in the Calvary Cemetery, Middletown, CT, will be held privately by the family.
