Her parents, Wallace and Mary (Cahill) Henderson welcomed their daughter into the world on August 18, 1945, in Keene, NH. Mary Jo attended local schools and was a 1963 graduate of Keene High School.
She worked for 19 years as a final assembler with Timken Corporation in Keene. She loved tending to her floral and vegetable gardens, knitting and playing bridge. She loved the holidays, enjoying celebrating every moment with her family and friends. She found a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats and dogs. Listening to Elvis brought her great joy as well.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband of 60 years, Sumner P. Fisher of Keene; her children, Timothy J. Fisher and his wife Danielle of Milford, NH, Dennis C. Fisher and his wife Kathy of Keene, Abigail E. Wright and her fiancé Jay VanStechelman of Spofford, NH; her grandchildren Dylan Fisher, Kyle Fisher, Courtney Fisher, Holly Jackson, Erika Wright; her great-grandchildren Sofia Fisher, Casey Fisher, Weslee Fisher, Hayden Aldrich, Samuel Jackson; her brother John Henderson and his wife Vicki of Keene; her sister, Lorraine Ellis of Keene; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. A grandson Jacob Wright, two brothers James Henderson and William Henderson, and a sister Kathleen Wood, predeceased her.
Services and burial in the Munsonville, NH Cemetery will be held privately by the family.
