

She was born in Winchendon, MA, on February 9, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Beauvais) Tatro. She attended area schools.
On April 30, 1949, in a ceremony in Winchendon, she married Chester Priest. Together they moved to Troy in 1955. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before his death in 2003.
She was a member of the Troy Seniors, as well as a 50+ year member of the Troy Trinitarian Congregational Church. Before her retirement, in 1990, she had worked as a receptionist at the Keene Family YMCA, for over 10 years.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting and was an avid reader. Sundays she would attend church, and in the afternoon family would get together and she would get to visit with her children and grandchildren. She was the epitome of a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters: Diane Lepisto and her husband Allen of Troy, Wendy Guyette and her husband Peter of Westport and Dayna Stoddard and her husband Butch of Troy; a daughter in law: Debbie Priest of Troy; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren ( with 3 more on the way); a sister: Diane McCall and two brothers: Robert Richards and Malcolm Richards, all of Washington state; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years: Chester Priest; a son: Stephen Priest and a brother: Donald Tatro.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Fletcher Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Troy Trinitarian Congregational Church, S. Main St, Troy NH. Burial will be held privately.
