Mary Sue Sue Holden Walker

She was born on March 15, 1945 in Rush Springs, OK, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Luttrell) Holden, and had resided in Oklahoma City, OK and Houston, TX prior to moving to Swanzey in 2002.

Mrs. Walker graduated from Run Springs High School in 1963 and went on to graduate from Hills Business School in 1965.

She had been employed at Findings in Keene where for the past nine years she had been in charge of the accounts payable department. She had previously been employed as the comptroller at Moody Rambin Interests in Houston for 26 years.

Sue had attended the Monadnock Covenant Church and loved gardening with flowers as well as vegetables and solving crossword puzzles. She enjoyed spending time at the New Hampshire and Maine seacoasts.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years: Jerry A. Walker of Swanzey; Alex, a loving family member; one brother: Dale Holden and his wife Dee, of Chickasha, OK; one sister: Ruth McLearen of Comanche, OK; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Walker will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Fletcher Funeral Home and Cremation

Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, with calling hours being held from 10:00AM until the time of the service.

It has been requested that gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Walker to Hospice at Home Healthcare and Community Services, 312 Marlboro St, Keene or to the Kingsbury Center for Cancer Care, 590 Court St., Keene.
