
She was born in Keene, on May 8, 1926, the daughter of Homer and Nellie G. (Russell) Ingalls. In 1959 the family relocated to RI. After her children completed school she worked for Ciba Geigy, a chemical company, as a Quality Control Technician. Upon retirement, she travelled to Arizona and the Midwest. She moved to Florida in 1994 and went back to work in a deli there. She remained in Florida for nearly 20 years before moving back home to Keene in 2014.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Daley-Whipple VFW Post # 799. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and cooking for her family and friends. She was very involved and active in the social committee of the park she lived in, in Zephyrhills, FL.
She is survived by her daughter: Sherrie Castle and her husband Dana of Keene; a son: Stevan w. Ball and his wife Susanne of W. Greenwich, RI.; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Buzel and her husband Gary of San Diego, CA., Kimberly Gardner and her husband Gary of Meriden, CT., Ryan Duhaime of Keene and Steven J. Ball of Griswold, CT.; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews as well as her sisters: Eunice Miller and Geneva Dunford of Florida, Marjoria Wycoff of Indiana and Lucille Buxton of Missouri. She is also survived by her longtime companion: George Dullen of Florida. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers: Joe Ingalls, Homer Ingalls, Harry Ingalls and Clarence Ingalls as well as a sister Ruth Fontaine.
At the request of the family, there will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will take place at a later date.
