Judy and girls . . . I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. 1968 seems like only yesterday and your dating years before that but time goes by so quickly and all earthly things come to an end as I've come to have to admit in my own physical frailties. Buddy was a good man whom I admired tremendously for the nearly half century that I knew him. Did he ever say anything bad about anyone, ever? I doubt it!
May God keep and comfort you all in these hard days and may you live in the lively hope of an eternal reunion with your beloved Buddy . . . ! Love and Peace . . .

I will always remember Oscar as a dear friend and a baseball player who helped me out of many games as a Blackbird 3rd baseman when I took the mound to pitch. He would always say I am here to help you when needed. Oscar will now play for God in Heaven.
