Pamela "Pammy" Elaine (DiLuzio) Raymond

Born on November 20, 1944, in Keene to Joseph and Evelyn (Mae) DiLuzio, Pammy graduated from Keene High School in 1962. She apprenticed under Ethel Shaw on Central Square in Keene to pursue her career in cosmetology. For 25 years, she was the co-owner of Hair Fashions by Pam and Kathi alongside her longtime friend, Kathleen Conwell.

On January 1, 1964, Pammy married the love of her life and "best pal," Robert "Bucky" Raymond. They shared 62 inseparable years together. Bucky often fondly remarked, "You never really know what Pammy is going to say. She is one of a kind." For the last 22 years, the couple spent their winters in Boynton Beach, FL, and their summers in Cheshire County, always surrounded by a community of friends and family.

Pammy was a hardworking woman who took great pride in her home and yard. She was deeply committed to helping others, often visiting nursing homes to sit with residents who had no family. She would offer them her companionship and help with their hair, ensuring they were treated with compassion and dignity. She was a true angel, with a heart of gold.

A 17-year survivor of Stage 3C ovarian cancer, Pammy beat the odds as part of the 3% of survivors to live a long life following such a diagnosis. She was also an avid walker who, at her peak, walked seven miles daily. Along her routes, she made countless friends of all ages, sharing her infectious personality and sense of humor.

Pammy is survived by her devoted husband, Bob; her brother, Robert J. DiLuzio Sr. and his wife Linda of Keene; several nieces and nephews; and her goddaughter and godson.

A private burial will be held immediately. A celebration of Pammy’s life will be held in the spring at a date and time to be announced.
